Bud Light Paintball Commercial – Paintball – Not Too Light, Not Too Heavy

by on 2010/02/09

www.socialpaintball.com This is the new Bud Light Commercial - Paintball - Not Too Light, Not Too Heavy that just aired. It has the giant blue paintball that is dropped from a fighter jet during a paintball airstrike. It's interesting how they depict paintball. If you freeze some of the scenes you can see some not so safe practices, plus learn from them. They are not using proper safety procedures that should be adhered to while playing paintball. What are some of those safety regulations you should always follow that they are not following? Is this good or bad for the overall sport of paintball? @mbrook1 Actually, its a French Rafeale… small detail…

@mbrook1 Looking at the wings, they look a bit like they have a “dual delta”, looks like a very small delta on the front, which the Euro outright doesn’t have, and the Rafale has very little of. The plane has a little weird rectangle on the underside near the engine, which nether appear to have (I want to say it was the bomb bay door for the paintball bomb). I still think the air intakes match the profile of a Rafale, and not the Typhoon. The engines look a bit more Rafale to me as well.

@mbrook1 maybe he got crushed under it and fell flat on his back?

This commercial would have been better if the man did not disappear when the giant paintball hit him. But if they did this it may have really hurt, LoL. 200 lb ball landing on your head.

@snakevenom56 With this video its really hard to say, but we both agree its a Euro. The nose of the jet looks smaller then a Rafale and the front fins are more under the cockpit. That’s why I say it’s a Typhoon. But here is the problem, in the video you will notice twin cannons firing paintballs. Neither jets have twin cannons. The Raf has one 30 mm and the Typhoon has one 27mm cannon. The Tornado has twin’s, but its a different jet completely.

I swear. this should have been in the superbowl. I laughed SO HARD when i first saw this :D

@mbrook1 it is NOT the euro typhoon, it is the Dassault Rafale, the the air intake of the euro is more “separated” from the fuselage at cockpit level, while the rafales are more “integrated”

Just google pictures

@jgk2310 Yes its a Euro Typhoon. You can see the twin engines. I would have picked this jet also because its a BAD BOY, HaHa…
